The Trust Department is a division of Bank of Guam®, a bank with over $2 billion in assets, and is conveniently located in the Bank of Guam® Headquarters Building, Hagåtña Guam.
The Trust Department is primarily engaged in corporate trust activities, serving as Trustee, Escrow Agent and Custodian under the Indenture provisions of corporate and municipal bond issues. The Trust Department administers municipal bonds issued by the governments of Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, including their respective agencies.

With Guam’s unique geographic location relative to New York’s financial markets, routine transactions on these accounts can be processed overnight, with new funds invested and existing investments redeemed and available within two business days.
In our role as Trustee, The Bank of Guam® Trust Department ensures that Issuers and/or Obligors pay principal and interest payments in accordance with the governing documents. Altogether Bond issues under our administration total an outstanding principal value of more than $2.2 billion.
