Giving Tuesday Kicks Off Be Kind Challenge

11.30.21

As Giving Tuesday kicked off all around the world on November 30th we once again solicited the help of some of our community partners to help us spread a little bit of cheer for the holidays. A total of 179 hot meals and kådu buckets were prepared by our friends at Market Deli Guam (Kådu) and Three Squares Guam. These meals made their way to the families most in need in our villages of Mangilao and Sinajana with the help of Mayor Allan Ungacta and Mayor Robert Hoffman, who also received $500 worth of fuel vouchers to help them continue to fuel kindness.

We also took our Be Kind campaign to our digital channels, encouraging and challenging everyone to Be Kind and Find Kind whether it’s making a donation to a charity, helping out a friend in need, or just extending an act of kindness to a stranger – any act, big or small, has the power to make a difference in someone else’s life. If you find yourself in a position to show kindness and spread cheer, don’t hesitate and be sure to share your stories with us on social media so we can inspire others along the way.
